Tips for after graduating and buying out a leased iPad
Reminder: Student accounts are disabled at the end of December after you graduate. You will lose access to your email and any files or content you have in your Newburyport Public Schools Google Account.
Google does allow students to copy content, including emails, from a school account to a personal one. This service is called Google Takeout: https://takeout.google.com/transfer

Return iPad settings to their defaults
You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
If you want to save your settings, back up iPad before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.
After an iPad is wiped, you will see this screen. Press the home button to continue.
On the next page, select your language.
Then, select your country or region.
If you see this screen, select "Set Up Manually".
On the next page, select your wireless network.
If you are in one of the school buildings, select "NPS-Guest" and the password protected Wi-Fi profile will download automatically. If you are at home, connect to your home Wi-Fi network and enter your home Wi-Fi password (if you have one).
Finally, you will see "Remote Management" on your screen. Press next in the upper right hand corner to finish setup.
Apps and settings will show up on your home screen shortly.
