Tips for after graduating and buying out a leased iPad
Reminder: Student accounts are disabled at the end of December after you graduate. You will lose access to your email and any files or content you have in your Newburyport Public Schools Google Account.
Google does allow students to copy content, including emails, from a school account to a personal one. This service is called Google Takeout: https://takeout.google.com/transfer

There are 3 major options in using your school leased ipad after graduate.
1. You can leave you ipad as is after it is release from Jamf. It will funtion as you are accustomed to with the exception of a few applications being removed(list applications)

Return iPad settings to their defaults
You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
If you want to save your settings, back up iPad before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup. 3. You can Wipe(Erase) the iPad. When you do this it permanently removes all of your content and settings from your iPad For example, erase iPad before you sell it, trade it in, or give it away. After an iPad is wiped, you will see this screen. Press the home button to continue.
On the next page, select your language.
Then, select your country or region.
If you see this screen, select "Set Up Manually".
On the next page, select your wireless network.
If you are in one of the school buildings, select "NPS-Guest" and the password protected Wi-Fi profile will download automatically. If you are at home, connect to your home Wi-Fi network and enter your home Wi-Fi password (if you have one).
Finally, you will see "Remote Management" on your screen. Press next in the upper right hand corner to finish setup.
Apps and settings will show up on your home screen shortly.
