Using Your School iPad after Graduation
Reminder: Student accounts are disabled after you graduate in December. You will lose access to your email and any files or content you have in your NPS Google Account. Google does allow students to copy content, including emails, from a school account to a personal one. You have several options when using your school leased iPad after you graduate:
Leave Your iPad as Is
You can leave you iPad as is after it is released from Jamf, our mobile device management (MDM) software. It will function as you are accustomed to, with the exception of a few managed applications being removed automatically. You will to reinstall these applications if you wish to continue using them.

Return Your iPad to Default Settings
If you wish, you can return your iPad settings to their defaults without erasing your content. Please make sure you back up your iPad before returning settings to their defaults, or before making any major changes. Apple has a support guide on this process: Return iPad settings to their defaults
Wipe Your iPad
You can Wipe (Erase) the iPad. When you do this it permanently removes all of your content and settings from your iPad For example, erase iPad before you sell it, trade it in, or give it away.
